So here's the story...

It all began with Jan, a passionate braai enthusiast and our visionary founder. Dissatisfied with the status quo and believing there must be a better way, he spent countless hours on YouTube, researching the art of braai. Specifically the South American barbecue scene caught his attention. His relentless pursuit for perfection led him to craft numerous braai designs, each version inching closer to the ideal.

In November 2022, Jan had his light-bulb moment and our groundbreaking Rooster Braai, multi-positioning grid system was conceived! A prototype swiftly materialized, a lot of braaiing was done and by December 2022, it became the centerpiece of numerous festive gatherings. The design evolved and close friends, captivated by its ingenuity, soon wanted their own. This was when Jan started to believe that there might be something to this new way of braaiing and it was just too good not to share with the world.

Recognizing the potential and believing in his friend, Julian joined forces with Jan. Vuur en Vlam, as they are better known as on the exhibition circuit, hit the road. They sought feedback far and wide. A lot of braais and meals were shared, braai was discussed, friends were made, all centered around a shared love of braaiing.

Fast forward to today, and we can proudly present version 4 of our creation to you! It’s not just good, it’s exceptional. Along the journey, we’ve introduced innovations like the Tjopstick, FirePlate, the WokRing and many more. We stand by our belief that we offer a truly remarkable product to our customers.
